Brigitte and Gerhard Hartmann devoted the last ten years with great skill, a special collection, which characterizes uniquely the complex tensions between literature and visual art. The collection comprises more than 100 combinations of text and image, totalling almost 1,500 works.
Among other with manuscripts and pictorial works by Jürgen Brodwolf, Arno Geiger, Christian Geismayr, Christoph & Markus Getzner, Peter Härtling, Günter Kunert, Reiner Kunze, Friederike Mayröcker, Eva Menasse, Vera Ida Müller, Wolfgang Stifter, Yoko Tawada, Alissa Walser, Martin Walser und Uljana Wolf.
